Overview
This course allows for the candidate to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in the roles of Slinger and Signalman. This is to be performed strictly within accordance of LOLER Regulations. Competence is built and tested on a range of scenarios.
- Pre-slung loads and free-slung loads.
- Demonstrate the selection, inspection and application of lifting accessories
- Demonstrate understanding and the application of accessories accordingly, when using the accessories at angles or with a created WLL.
- Attach & remove pre & free slung loads to & from crane
- Perform the role of Slinger using the correct body positioning, and making use of taglines or push-sticks
- Perform in the role of Signalman using the correct body positioning and interpret required movements into hand signals.
